Peer support networks

Women Involved In Strategic Change: A networking lunch for women involved in strategic and systems change within the context of working with children and young people and/or the criminal justice system.

Grassroots Leadership: We contribute to peer support networks of grassroots organisations that work with young people affected violence.

Bringing the voices of those affected by systemic violence to policy makers

Activity:

  • Contribute to policy consultation

  • Advisory roles on stakeholder committees, panels and advisory boards

  • Publish research reports

Mechanisms for Change:

  • Policy makers acknowledge the connections between trauma, direct violence and systemic violence

  • Policy makers allocate funds to tackling systemic violence

  • Policy makers block proposed policies that perpetuate systemic violence

  • Policy makers reverse existing policies that perpetuate systemic violence are reversed

  • Contribute to policy change
