Professional and
organisational Development
At Project 507 we believe in sharing our learning/expertise with other professionals, leaders and decision makers. We do this through supporting practitioners and organisations to develop their own practices in ways that reduce systemic violence and harm, whilst maintaining improved cultures.
We have been delivering training centred around trauma and violence since 2015. Our training is based on over 20 years of experience working with children, young people and communities. We use a multi-disciplinary approach, drawing on insights from psychology and neuroscience, among other fields, to cater for the multiple facets of an individual within their environments.
Understanding Trauma - Book Club
The Understanding Trauma Book Club is a professional learning community designed for practitioners who work with individuals, groups and communities impacted by trauma. Each month, we explore carefully selected trauma-related books, focusing on key chapters to accommodate busy schedules. Through monthly online meetups and access to an exclusive, year-round online community, members can deepen their understanding, connect with like-minded professionals, and engage in meaningful discussions—all for just £5 per month or £50 annually.

Reflective Practice
Reflective practice is a trauma-centred, therapeutic space for professionals working with individuals, groups, and communities affected by trauma. Rooted in psychodynamic understanding, it supports practitioners in developing trauma-responsive and inclusive approaches to their work. Reflective practice fosters professional and personal growth by providing a safe, confidential space to explore challenges, responses, and successes.
